In the last of 2021, Umair ventured into digital marketing and accounting, working as a freelancer while managing his wedding photography business and doing Zomato delivery.

In 2022, Umair launched a handicraft business, selling products on Amazon and Flipkart, where he learned the ins and outs of e-commerce. However, in 2023, he decided to enter in the stock market, which led him to significant financial losses and a period of depression. This challenging time make umair bankrupt, with no job or no business to rely on. He had to sell his bike to manage his EMI payments, and life seemed to slow down drastically.

Despite these hardships, Umair did not give up. In December 2023, he decided to turn his life around. Realizing that his lack of consistency was a major barrier to his success, Umair sought solace and motivation in his religion. He immersed himself in learning about Islam and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which profoundly changed his outlook on life. Understanding the importance of patience and consistency, Umair began practicing Islam diligently and found the mental strength to start a new journey.

The Birth of Growth Overdrive

With renewed determination, Umair meticulously planned for the year 2024. Leveraging his extensive skill set, he decided to establish a digital marketing agency. On January 1, 2024, Growth Overdrive was launched. Throughout January, Umair reached out to various businesses, offering his digital marketing expertise. By the end of the month, he secured his first client, Moon Shade Enterprises, a handicraft company that needed an e-commerce website.

In February 2024, Growth Overdrive gained another client, a teacher aspiring to start a YouTube channel. Umair’s agency provided video shooting, editing, and posting services, showcasing his diverse capabilities. To handle the increasing workload, Umair brought on board a content creator. In March 2024, Umair struck a long-term deal with Homfye, an export firm specializing in metal furniture, to manage their online sales. Growth Overdrive was now thriving with a steady stream of clients.

Reinventing His YouTube Journey

Returning to his passion for YouTube, Umair launched a new educational channel. With his refined understanding of the YouTube algorithm, he quickly amassed thousands of views, with many videos ranking prominently on the platform. By May 2024, Growth Overdrive secured another long-term client, Learning Room, a coaching center for students, where Umair served as their ad manager.
